Quality management

Quality management from sourcing to delivery

Quality work starts with reviewing the source and continues through receipt, inspection and shipment preparation. The agreed part number, quantity, packaging and document requirements guide our checks, with findings recorded and specialist third-party testing coordinated when the order needs further verification.

Source review, incoming inspection and shipment checks follow the agreed order requirements. Findings are recorded against the material, with specialist third-party testing coordinated where further verification is required.

Checks at each stage of the order

  1. Source review

Review the supplier, quoted material and supporting documents. Identify unresolved questions before choosing the source or defining further checks.

  2. Incoming inspection

Compare received markings, quantity, packaging and visible condition with the order. Record findings and any difference needing follow-up.

  3. Additional verification

Where an inspection question or order requirement calls for more evidence, agree the purpose and scope of additional checks or third-party testing.

  4. Records and shipment release

Review the findings and any agreed action before shipment. Keep purchasing, inspection and delivery records linked to the relevant order and material.

Specialist testing for a defined question

Where additional verification is needed, we coordinate with specialist third parties. Depending on the agreed purpose, methods may include X-ray inspection, decapsulation, electrical testing, solderability or material analysis.

The method, samples, cost and timing are agreed before testing. The report is read in relation to the actual samples and work performed.
